Here is a sketch I did for my friend's daughter's birthday. She really likes Zombies and since I couldn't get her an ACTUAL zombie pinata I just drew a scene of how it might look.... (lets hope Dad picked out a ripe one!)

Fatherhood
I recently did an illustration for Covenant Communications. They needed a cover illustration (ASAP) for an article titled 'Fatherhood: The Manliest Profession'. This was one of my first times working with an art director back and forth through email. It was fun and a great learning experience. Here is the process from thumbs to finish as I worked with covenant and made changes along the way.
(I believe this illustration was for an ebook that will be appearing withing the next 6 months, ill post a link)

Easters
Hey guys! It's been a while since I posted. Things are getting super busy with my last semester being halfway over and also trying to get my BFA project done as well as other personal projects. The UVU illustration club was doing a service project and asked us to come up with some pieces to donate to the Primary Children's Hospital that they could hang there for Easter. I thought that was a great idea and even though I couldn't spend as much time as I wanted, hopefully it'll cheer up some kids. Happy Easter!

Skottie Young
I wanted to try sketching and coloring some things in sketchbook pro and my wife just got me the Marvelous Land of Oz book by Skottie Young. So I thought I'd try and do a quick copy to get a feel for it. I really like sketchbook pro and want to learn it better. And I absolutely love everything Skottie draws.

The Shogun of Harlem
I did a quick painting for my friend for her birthday, and she really loves the movie The Last Dragon. I hadn't seen it before and it was incredible. Changed my life.
