Here is a sketch I did for my friend's daughter's birthday. She really likes Zombies and since I couldn't get her an ACTUAL zombie pinata I just drew a scene of how it might look.... (lets hope Dad picked out a ripe one!)

Fatherhood
I recently did an illustration for Covenant Communications. They needed a cover illustration (ASAP) for an article titled 'Fatherhood: The Manliest Profession'. This was one of my first times working with an art director back and forth through email. It was fun and a great learning experience. Here is the process from thumbs to finish as I worked with covenant and made changes along the way.
(I believe this illustration was for an ebook that will be appearing withing the next 6 months, ill post a link)

Play Time
This assignment was supposed to be done in the style of a children's book. It needed to have 2 kids, animals, trees, architecture, and a mode of transportation. It's impressive how much fun kids can have with a cardboard box.
