Kirby NES
I was sad to hear about the passing of Satoru Iwata. He helped create everyone's favorite inhaling, pink puffball, Kirby.

Shark! Week!
I decided to do a quick shark sketch for Shark Week, but it ended up pulling me in and I did an entire painting. Sharks are so cool.

"Ah, no wonder you're extinct..."
This scene taught me that bad things happen to bad people. So I made the decision early in life to be good so I wouldn't get eaten by a dilophosaurus.

Getting excited for Jurassic World! This movie was one of my favorites growing up and it's still in my all time top 5.

"My Glasses!"
Milhouse Van Houten is one of the best Simpsons characters ever. He's definitely one of the most quotable characters. Let the Milhouse quotes begin!
I'll get things rolling. "Everything's comin' up Milhouse!"
Mad Max Madness!
Classic Mad Max from Road Warrior, and Imperator Furiosa from the new Fury Road. These movies felt surprisingly similar even though there's more than 30 years between them. Mad Max Fury Road is a must see. If you haven't seen the old ones you'll love it, if you have, you'll REALLY love it.
Expect to see another Fury Road piece coming soon...

Thor
Here is a quick Thor painting I came up with for one of the Daily topics. I really like the Norse mythology and I want to spend more time learning about it. It has a lot of really cool characters and creatures.

Bitemander
This is a made up pokemon I came up with. As I started to play around with shapes and design it started to have shark-like features so I took its pattern and coloring that direction. Maybe I'll have to show this in another illustration but I pictured this thing having massive teeth and multiple rows of them...
"Bitemander I choose you! Bite him in the face!"

destructible armor
Video game character concept art. We were thinking it'd be cool if the armor on a player visually destroyed as your health went down. So this is a concept of how it might look.

Finished Rick Grimes
It's finally back! But more importantly, I finally finished this illustration that I started forever ago...

Still alive
It has been way too long since my last post. For Christmas my boss got me a Surface Pro 2 (!!!!) and this is what I came up with playing around on it in photoshop. It was a lot of fun! I just need to get a mouse for it because the track pad just isn't going to do it.

Skull test
I'm trying out a different painting style. This skull was inspired by work from the incredibly talented Tyson Murphy.

INKtober 31: Dem bones
Drybones from Mario was always such a cool character. You stomp on the bones but they just keep coming back. Kind of like a cockroach.
Happy Halloween!
